Educational, CVHS & Home Release
To request Ed release, CVHS release or Home Release, please follow these steps:
We cannot put the release in your schedule until it has been approved by both parent and student! Please be checking your emails to approve it.
Please note:
- Go to releases.canyonsdistrict.org
- Fill out first name, last name, birthdate and current school fields to look up your student’s information from Skyward.
- After selecting your student, fill out the additional questions that appear, sign and submit the form.
- An email will be sent to the guardian to approve, the counselor to approve, a vice-principal to approve and lastly to the student email to approve.

Please note:
- Ed release, CVHS release or Home Release can only be added to a schedule within the first 10 days of the semester or quarter.
- During Released-Time from school, the student is not allowed on campus for any reason without prior administrative approval.
- Please be aware that allowing your student to participate in Released-Time or Released-Time classes may result in a credit deficiency towards graduation for your student. For questions and issues of credit guidance please contact your student’s counselor.
